1. The World Ends With You
This game is an excellent innovation in RPGs. The way the battle system is set up you can play as two people at once; one on each of the ds screens. If you don’t like this you can always have the secondary character on auto, but it is nice to see something new. In the game you are able to earn experience while not even playing. Each day you don’t play you get a set amount of experience. You can earn experience up to 7 days after your last play. The game has an interesting story line and many secondary characters to play with. The cut-scenes are done in a way similar to a comic book. It makes them feel more exciting. I was very impressed and I still get on every once in a while for the experience.
2. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
When I first bought this game I honestly wasn’t expecting much(I mean look how CoM turned out), but when I started playing the first thing I noticed was that the characters were proportional to those from the platform games. CoM was done beautifully as far as graphics go for the GBA, but 358/2 Days just has it beat by far. The second thing I noticed was the fight system. All though it wasn’t the same as the platforms; it was not the card system that CoM had.(Thankfully) The story helps you to understand more about the KH universe and really is worth playing.
